Due to the ongoing precautions to avoid the further spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) as advised by the Government of Tanzania, we minimize public visits to the offices, we urge parties and any persons requiring our services during this period to follow the below procedure.

TIArb Case Administration:

• To use our email in filing arbitration or adjudication requests for appointment of neutrals by attaching all relevant documents (info@tiarb.or.tz);
• To encourage Parties in pending arbitrations to use email as means of communication in filling any written submissions and exchanges with the Arbitral Tribunal.
• For all pre-existing cases, we urge the respective tribunals, arbitrator, or adjudicator to encourage parties to use electronic means of communication and exchange of submissions.

As the Government continues to update us on the COVID-19 pandemic, we will review our measures and keep you informed of any changes.

Please note that our offices will still remain open from Monday to Friday (8 a.m – 5 p.m), however, we discourage unnecessary visits which can be dealt with using electronic means.
